I’ve wrote about the Libero a couple of times in the past and it always generates a lot of discussion. However, I’ve never written about it as  in-depth as this article. Not only will I focus on how the Libero works, I will also be discussing what doesn’t and how the role could be changed to be better. There are a lot of issues with the Libero role on Football Manager but the role does work, it’s more that the role could work so much better. But that doesn’t mean it doesn’t currently work, it just means we need to learn what the role actually does in Football Manager and what to expect from the exotic role. Arsenal Invincibles – Part Three

The first three seasons were always going to be about getting results and possible back to back promotions and then establishing ourselves as a Premiership side. The early years are all about laying the foundations for what I’m trying to achieve and while it might not look like much, over time you’ll see how important this time actually is. Not from just a player perspective either but throughout the whole club, this includes identifying players, buying players, developing players, getting the right kind of staff and so on. At times it can look like we aren’t making progress and not much seems to have changed but it has, as you’ll see once we end up with the desired style I am creating. The 4-2-3-1 – Standard vs Attacking Mentality

In this article I carry on the 4-2-3-1 deep discussion. This time with a focus on the standard mentality and the attacking mentality settings. Hopefully it will highlight some of the differences between the two settings and explain a little bit about how they differ and the pros and cons of both methods. For the basis of this thread, I played the same team with two different mentality structures. I used attacking mentality and the standard mentality to highlight the differences. These are the only two I did as I didn’t have time to do more. However you’ll get the idea and the point I am making hopefully. So let’s just dive straight into it.
